The rose-coloured hue 

of expectancy 

is the fragile hope that buds in me.

As these fingers softly dance across 

the keys of my tender heart, 

my love caresses you from a distance now.

This love I cannot help,

and the longing I cannot deny,

are yours to hold

one day.
